November 2 Michael Paulo
Another Milestone in Michael’s Career is his recent appearance on a previously unreleased Miles Davis record that was recorded in 1986 entitled Rubberband The record was released Sept 6th 2020 and reached the number 1 status on the billboard jazz charts . Michael has recently released a new record dedicated to his late father Rene Paulo ,Hawaii’s legendary pianist . The record has produced two chart topping singles and will be released on Woodward records in September 2024 .
Michael is also a visionary live event producer who started the popular, long running Temecula Wine and Music Festival twenty years ago, which has supported military veterans and organizations like the Shriner’s Hospital for Children over the past two decades. He currently produces three concert music series in California, Grooves at the Westin, Live from La Costa and Rhythm on the Vine as well as concerts in Hawaii for the past fifteen years .
Like many instrumental artists, Paulo has done his share of label hopping, from MCA to GRP and then his own 90’s label, Noteworthy, and releasing indie recordings under his own name and Apaulo Records (the case with two of his best 2000s releases – Beautiful and My Heart and Soul) and now currently on Woodward Records . A dynamic live performer Michael has constantly left his audiences wanting more. His emotive playing and endearing style has never failed to capture the hearts of his fans all over the world
